Horns and ears are an ever-changing factor of Kukuris. None of the markings specifically affect any of the ears or horns, so they take their colors the same way markings do, and often reflect the markings of the body if they have something more complex coloration.

Arrow left Minimal black and white covers the whole ears and horns, so those can be used to your advantage too.
Arrow left No matter the base coat, natural pinks and skin colors can be used inside ears.
Arrow left blue, green, purple colors are only for azure or jade kukuris OR raven and pearl with azure or jade parents.

However, it should be remembered that the markings in either still cannot be too unnatural, and you may be asked to change them if the marking in the ear jumps off the body's markings too much.

In case physical traits align poorly, the choice of which one shall be edited to fit properly is left to the member. However, the edit must be justifiable, and you can't go around deleting more than necessary without mod scrolls.

Be sure to remember the back ear too!

RUFFLES

Ruffles are a special, mane like mutation which makes the neck fur poofier, curlier, or longer than normal. It should be noted that even though Muffed is the most common, it is still fairly hard to breed, especially with a Kuku with no ruffle.

TAILS

All Kukus have a tail, but certain mutations make them a little different. A regular tail is most commonly seen, while the others are mainly a result of human's breeding kukuri, and are fairly rare in nature.

The rare short tail automatically gives -1SPD as a starting point, since the kukuri will have a lack of balance.

FEATHERS

Prairie feathers work mostly like horns and ears, with some strict restrictions:

Feathers can mimic marking colors with same rules as markings do.
Common coat marking colors for common coats and rare marking colors for rare coats with exception of Raven/Pearl prairies who can sport rare colors on feathers only if one of the parents or both were azure/jade. These marking colors won't inherit to the children of said raven or pearl.

Black and white are allowed freely on feathers.

Feathers Right Filling by Kuku-ri
Feathers can have:
> A soft gradient from the tips of the primary and secondary feathers.
> A color that fills the whole feather area with the same solid color
> Primaries and secondaries colored, but leave the coverts uncolored.

Feathers can't be two different colors, or have both lighter and darker color in the feathers without markings affecting them at the same time! Gradient cannot start from the stem!
The filling of the feathers has to be identical. Please do not mix and match different fillings on feathers without marking affecting them.

However, not all feather areas have to have filling! Look at the example import below! You could, for example, make a gradient on the hind leg feathers and arm feathers, and leave others uncolored!

You must color both the primaries and secondaries within a given section, you can't color one while leaving the other untouched!

There are markings that cannot affect feathers at all, or markings that have very restricted color rules on them. markings override free filling on feathers!

For example, a prairie with crested cannot use crested colors on other feathers outside marking allowance area. Luminescent cannot affect the feathers at all.

Markings like Socks and Tailwind have strict directional filling. Tailwind fills the tail (and feathers on it from the tail tip to the butt. Socks fill the legs from ground up. Leaving feathers uncolored if the marking touches them is a fault and will count as a "hole".
Incorrect Sock Interaction by Kuku-ri

Markings like hood and blanket only allow for a restricted amount of interaction. Even in  their dominant forms,  they cannot fill feathers in full!

If marking appears on feathers it has to be same color as the rest of the marking!
Example given with socks!

Modifying feathers:

- If you're clipping 50% or less from the primaries/secondaries length-wise (as in, you can't take away whole feathers), you may do this with the Modification scroll. Note that this does account for the 50% total of lines modified if done this way.

Scarring feathers:

(Small scar) You may use small scars to clip feathers - however, due to their size, only a few feathers can be damaged with one scar. A base of the primary/secondary feather should still be visible.
(Large scar) With a large scar you can take off whole primaries/secondaries if you so desire, and it does not leave visible scars if you so desire.
- For aerials, you can take only primaries or secondaries of their wings with one large scar. To fully take them all away, you would need a total 2 of large scars. Every chunk of wing feathers taken away from aerial in this manner adds -2 to their speed, to the total of -4

Getting rid of all feathers:
- Using large scars you can take away feathers and even coverts. HOWEVER, you can at maximum take away three points of feathers, and one should have (at least) a set of coverts visible. The four points of feather being head, arms/wings, legs, and tail. One point always must have feathers.

Amputating a wing of an aerial:

- Wing amputation is allowed, but causes a -4 speed debuff on the kukuri.
