This has made him extremely violent and manipulative, often killing his victims rather than just seriously injuring them to "believe". He enjoys the often occurring chase before the kill. It goes without saying that Rodion doesn't have all his moomins in the valley.
However, his brother Ruoja, Rodion adores, despite of the brother's imperfections and flaws. He would do anything for his brother dearest; anything and everything to the point where adoration becomes obsession. His violent behavior Rodion hides as best as he can from Ruoja. Clearly, "I'll tell your brother about this" is something that one should not say, if they are eager to keep their limbs and head attached to their body.
